He was born Pierre Ernest Gallen on December 9th, 1948 in Charenton-le-Pont near Paris.
Since the separation of his parents during his early youth he has been living in St. Pölten.
He started painting in 1964, his main occupation being that of a teacher of Politics, German, Communication Studies and Business Studies at the Landesberufsschule Lilienfeld.
He has had successful exhibitions both in Austria and abroad.
The techniques respectively materials he prefers are oil, acrylic, watercolours and various mixed techniques.
